Glovely Garden Gloves!

No matter how fancy or simple garden gloves are, they protect our hands from cuts and scrapes during yard or garden work. They usually have a rubber backing to help grip tools and slippery devices. Have you ever considered using garden gloves to enhance your table place settings? It may sound unusual, but trust me, it's a unique and creative way to repurpose these everyday items.

I'll show you how to spruce up your summer table. Typically, I can find garden gloves at the dollar store in the springtime. I have to shop early as the prettiest designs disappear quickly.

I like to craft, so I have a lot of leftover fabric swatches, ribbons, beads, etc. From there, I use my supplies to decorate the gloves. Because mine are for decorative purposes, I only decorate one of the gloves in a set. Of course, you can use them in the yard to plant flowers or weed the garden. Either way, the gloves are completely functional. Garden gloves make a cute decoration or can also be worn while digging in the garden. If the latter, I'm sure you will be the talk of the neighbors!
