I grew up in a small, quaint community in southern Illinois, where folks are friendly, warm, and ready to help someone in need. As a child, I have fond memories of riding my bicycle through the tree-lined cobblestone streets where neighbors relaxed on their front porch and waved at passers-by.
After earning my BA over 25 years ago, I immediately stepped into my ministry career—a ministry that placed me in multiple cities across the United States, including St. Louis, Chicago, San Diego, and Los Angeles—where I had the honor of serving on staff at eight churches.
Although raised Catholic, I experienced a profound spiritual transformation in 2012. I renounced Catholicism and embraced life as a Born-Again Christian. Since tasting Jesus’ living water, my cup has never run dry—no more broken cisterns, no more empty wells. I left the jar and took the call.
